The camera's angle of view multiply the camcorder, digital/video camera by 0.45 times, which more than doubles the angle of view of the camera. Great for landscapes or recording in situations where a little creative curvature of field of view or fish-eye effects.

This lens is so much fun to use -- the macro feature and the wide angle feature screw into each other, so you can use both at the same time -- no need to keep switching lenses. I'm using it with my Canon T1i, on the standard lens that shipped with it (18-55mm), and I haven't noticed any reduced level of image quality (although, I haven't yet uploaded the pictures that I took, since I've only had it for a couple days). If you have any interest in a wide angle lens, there's no reason not to go ahead and get this since the price is so incredibly low and it can be used with most of your other lenses.
